RESTON, VA – ScienceLogic, an IT operations and cloud monitoring provider, has closed on a $15 million growth equity financing from New Enterprise Associates.
ScienceLogic says it will leverage this cash infusion to immediately capitalize on the huge disruption in the marketplace as service providers and enterprises embrace cloud computing. This is the first institutional round of investment for the high-growth company. A spokesperson tells us the company has been self-funded and growing organically the last seven years.
It employs 50 people and will be hiring on the heels of this funding.
“From day one, we have built a comprehensive, scalable solution that monitors all of the infrastructure components that make up IT service delivery,” said David Link, CEO and co-founder of ScienceLogic.
ScienceLogic’s says its patent-pending EM7 Meta-Appliances are a next-generation “framework” solution is engineered to deliver comprehensive systems, network and application management out-of-the-box.
The EM7 technology combines a secure and pre-integrated set of applications with automation tools, reporting, “single pane of glass” view and centralized data repository – all optimized to work together for proactive and efficient IT operations management.
EM7 solutions are additionally designed to monitor datacenter resources, mobile and remote assets and public and hybrid cloud resources all from a single console. The EM7 G2 product starts at $35,000, while the EM7 G3 starts at $125,000.
