Florida-based MyOnlineToolBox celebrates July 4th with funding bang

POMPANO BEACH, FL – ServusXchange, a company selling software-as-a-service to the home repair, remodeling, construction and related real estate industries, has closed on an investment in an undisclosed amount from its angel investor group. MyOnlineToolBox is the company’s flagship product.

Brian Javeline, president and co-founder of ServusXchange, LLC, said, “MyOnlineToolbox is our flagship product that continues to have new users sign up for our service, which is already up over 300 percent from the end of 2008.

The solution is an evolving collaboration platform that allows companies to operate independently or in conjunction with one another.

Javeline said angel investors from a few states and two foreign countries participated.

“However, the current environment isn’t attractive for us to actively solicit another angel or early-stage VC investor,” he added.

“We decided to bootstrap the operations and continue to grow the user base to further approach our critical mass.”

The company sees a large potential market for its products.

There are 128 million existing homes in the U.S., a huge base of ready business for home-improvement and service professionals.

The average age of the U.S. home is 32 years – prime remodeling age, and a time of needed repair or replacement. With the slowdown in the housing market, people are more likely to keep their existing home and maintain it rather than buy a new home.
