RALEIGH, NC – The e-NC-Authority is providing nearly $1 million in funding to Verizon and Embarq to help make more broadband Internet access available in six North Carolina rural counties.
The “incentive grants” from the state-funded group will be matched at least dollar for dollar by the companies to make high-speed access more available in Caswell, Cherokee, Duplin, Graham, Pamlico and Tyrrell Counties.
