ATLANTA – Purewire Inc. won plaudits from Dean Takahasi of VentureBeat, who cited it as one of his favorites at the DEMO 2009 event in Palm Beach, CA, recently.
Demo attendees also cited it for one of the event’s “DEMOGod” awards.
Purewire is a presenting company at TechJournal South’s third annual Southeast Venture Conference March 11-12 at the Intercontinental Buckhead in Atlanta (www.seventure.org).
The company, which sells Web security tools and services to businesses, has also launched Purewire Trust, a Web site that that lets users enter a person’s email to obtain a known reputation score and where the person has social networking accounts with that address.
It also lets users check sites for malware and harmful Java.
It won the DEMOGod recognition for Purewire Trust.
