Maryland-based RegeneRx raises $3M in stock sale

BETHESDA, MD – RegeneRx, a biopharmaceutical company developing treatments to accelerate organ and tissue repair, has raised $3 million via a stock sale to affiliates of its largest shareholder, Sigma-Tau Group.

The company sold about 2.1 million shares at $1.45 a share.

The company says it will use the money to fund clinical trials and as working capital.
