November 6th, 2008

RESEARCH TRIANGLE – Fewer than 100 seats remain for the Internet Summit Nov. 19 in Chapel Hill. A sellout of 600 attendees is expected.

TechJournal South, the North Carolina Council for Entrepreneurial Development, and Southern Capitol Ventures are sponsoring the conference.

extremely pleased with the anticipated sell out of the inaugural Internet Summit. It bodes well for the continued growth of the area’s internet economy,” says Eric Gregg, Publisher of TechJournal South.

More than 50 speakers from companies such as Google, Microsoft, AOL, Lenovo, and others will participate.

Participants and attendees include executives, entrepreneurs and marketers primarily from the Southeast.

It features panels on topics that include social networks, blogging, ecommerce, best practices, search engine marketing and the future of search, among others.

“The cost efficiencies of doing business and marketing via the internet become an even higher priority during a down market. We’re certainly seeing evidence of that with a full house sell out crowd expected for the Internet Summit,” says Gregg.
