COLUMBIA, MD – Maryland will give each its 23 counties homeland security grants to help them improve public safety programs.
The $27 million in grants will result in each county and the cities of Baltimore, Annapolis, and Ocean City receiving about 11 percent less than last year.
Baltimore will also receive $11.4 million from the Baltimore Urban Area Security Initiative.
