GREENSBORO, NC – Diane Welsh, who holds the James W. Walter Chair of Entrepreneurship at the University of Tampa, is leaving to begin teaching at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in the fall.
Welsh helped UT expand its entrepreneurship programs, including one in real estate venturing that the Small Business Institute recognized as one of the nation’s best.
Welsh told the Tampa Bay Business Journal that the UNC Greensboro position offers an opportunity to include entrepreneurship across the curriculum and all majors.
