ORLANDO, FL—LightPath Technologies, (Nasdaq:LPTH) which sells optics products, has named James Gaynor president and CEO.

Gaynor replaces Ken Brizel who left in September.

Gaynor previously was at Corning Glass Works, Rockwell International and JDS Uniphase. He has 30 years experience in electronics and optics companies.
