RALEIGH, NC—Scott Neuville has been ousted as CEO of Qualyst, which makes products that help pharmaceutical companies track reactions to drugs.
A source close to the company tells TechJournal South that Jonathan Gelles, who recently forced out Durham-based AlphaVax CEO Peter Young to take control of that company, did the same at Qualyst, where is a member of the advisory board.
Qualyst did not return calls, but an executive told LocalTechWire.com that Scott “is not here and that’s all we can say.”
Qualyst closed a $2.75 million B round last year. It employs 15 people and licenses its technology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
