McLean, VA—K12 Inc., a company that provides curriculum and services to public schools for virtual academies and eschool’s, has filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering of stock.
The company hopes to raise $172 million with the offering.
Schools in Florida, Ohio, Indiana, Washington, Idaho, Wisconsin, and Chicago, among others, use the company’s products.
