MCLEAN, VA – On a hot and humid Wednesday night, the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) celebrated the efforts of the region’s entrepreneurial companies at the NVTC Hot Ticket Awards Party.

The event, held poolside at the McLean home of NVTC President & CEO Bobbie Kilberg, was well attended by over 500 local technology entrepreneurs and business leaders who packed the pool side bars and networked prior to the awards announcements.

Winners were announced at the party in the categories of “Hottest Bootstrap,” “Hottest Buzz,” “Hottest Exit,” “Hottest Management Team” and “Hottest Venture Capital Deal.”

Columbia, Maryland-based Sourcefire was the Hall of Fame Award category winner.
