MIAMI – Interlink Global announced it had raised $1.5 million in private placement investment. The funding was arranged through a private placement by Midtown Partners & Co., LLC of Tampa, Florida.

Proceeds of the funding will go towards developing Interlink’s Latin American Telecommunications Network.

Interlink, founded in 2002, provides full service long distance telephone services using VoIP technology.

The company which trades Over the Counter (OTC:ILKG) had its stock trading suspended for 10 days in March of this year, due to allegations regarding “investor relations promotions” through spam emails.

The company emphatically denied that it has ever authorized any spam or fax stock promotion campaign.
