Cryptek Closes $7 million funding

STERLING, VA—Cryptek Inc., which makes and sells security software, has closed a $7 million round from its current investors and board members.

Cryptek says the money will help it enhance and expand its DiamondTEK security products, support acquisitions, and continue operating as a debt free company.

Bill Anderson, CEO, said in a statement that “The company plans to remain strong in our research and development efforts as well as bring new products to market.”

The company sells its security products primarily to Department of Defense and civilian agencies concerned with national defense.
