ATLANTA, GA – MIV Therapeutics, a publicly traded research and development company pursuing the commercialization of next-generation biocompatible coatings for stents and other medical devices, has agreed to acquire Biosync Scientific, an India-based developer of cardiology products. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Biosync Scientific was incorporated in 2003, and focuses on developing cardiovascular stents and related medical equipment. Rajesh Vaishnav, Biosync Scientific’s founder, will join MIV as CEO of Biosync Scientific.
