CHARLOTTE, NC – The CFA North Carolina Society, an association of investment professionals including portfolio managers, security analysts, investment advisors, and other financial professionals, will host a discussion of “Portfolio Management in Exchange Traded Funds” on October 31 at 12:00 p.m. at the Omni Hotel in Charlotte.
While the event is free to members, there is a $25 charge for non-members.
The CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) North Carolina Society is an arm of the global CFA organization that promotes ethical and professional standards within the investment industry and encourages professional development and continuing education about investment practices.
Topics to be discussed at the event include the evolution of exchange traded funds, which are collective investment vehicles that track indices and allow for low cost exposure to the performance of an index, and overall portfolio management.
