Educator to Address ‘Digital Divide’ at NC State Friday

Raleigh, NC – Raymond Rose, vice president of The Concord Consortium, will be the featured speaker for a forum hosted by North Carolina State University’s
College of Education on “Moving the Digital Divide to Digital Equity”
from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7 in room 216 of Poe Hall on the NC
State campus.

Rose will examine the issue of digital access and what it means for
schools on the state and national levels. The forum is free and open to
the public.

At The Concord Consortium, Rose conducts research, develops educational
applications that address educational problems and manages projects. The
Concord Consortium is a nonprofit educational research and development
organization based in Concord, Mass.

The forum, sponsored by NC State’s William and Ida Friday Institute for
Educational Innovation and the Bettye MacPhail-Wilcox Administrative
Technology Fund, is the third session in a series of First Friday Forums
hosted by the institute.
